Borcherding
Runs to Free Women in South Asia
This Saturday, Borcherding, along with
several other Cincinnatian and Northern Kentucky organizations, gathered at the
Freedom Center at 9am to run for freedom, and fight human trafficking in South
Asia.
It was all for The Aruna Project, an
organization that works to bring freedom to an estimated 15, 000 women and
girls enslaved against their will by South Asia’s commercial sex industry.
The 7th annual Run for
Freedom 5K took place along the banks of the Ohio River, and every person ran
for a specific victim the organization had met and promised to help.
If you want to join next year’s run, or
give to the project, you can at www.arunaproject.com.
